Here is MCC 4.2.0.RC1 posted Feb 27! 'The Sim menus have been updated so all applicable pet menu options should now be available. Also, since this release is now in RC status, all translations for other languages have been filled with default values.' In addition, it contains several settings and command-line actions (which can be run from the sims command-line control-shift-C within a sim lot). All settings for MC Command Center and its modules are located in the “MC Command Center” menu found on computers in-game, or by typing “mcsettings” at the console. Installing MCCC for Sims 4
I thought I’d take some time and walk you through installing MC Command Center into your Sims 4 game.
Verify that your game is up to date, check the GameVersion.txt file in your /Sims 4 folder.
Check the Compatibility Requirements on the download page or post for MCCC, to ensure you have the version that will work with your game.
For Sims 4 1.50.67, MCCC should be 6.2.0. Until there is a pre-release up on Deaderpool’s Patreon, ALL MCCC users should now have 6.2.0. (April 6, 2019)
Links to MCCC are always available on any of these 3 pages:
No matter which site you download from, the process is the same.
Click the zip file link to download the zip, or both zips, if you want mc_woohoo’s functionality in your game. I leave my zips in the Downloads folder, personally.
I’ve used 7zip for years, but Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 can unzip these for you.
These next two pictures show what you’re looking for, the package and ts4script files inside the zip archives.
If this is your first time installing MC Command Center, create a new folder in your Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods folder for MCCC.
Any Script Mod needs to either be loose in /Mods, or, preferably, inside a folder there. They will not work placed any deeper than (for example) /Mods/MCCC.

Adding all of the files from the above two pictures will give you everything shown BELOW the highlighted line, in the next screenshot.
This is from my own installation, and Deaderpool uses my screenshots for his Installation page, because this is how MCCC works.
Successfully running the game and having MCCC load properly will generate both the mc_settings.cfg file and the log (text) file.
If this is NOT your first time, and you are updating MCCC from an earlier version, the trick to remember is to ONLY delete ALL of the packages and ts4scripts. You want to KEEP the config (.cfg) files, to preserve your settings. The log is optional, I keep mine, but you can delete it if you want. The mod will create the file again when it runs.
This is why I sort the picture by file Type when I make the screenshot, so all of the files to keep or delete are grouped together.
In addition to the mc_settings.cfg file, you may also have
- a mc_dresser.cfg file (if you have saved any outfits, or whitelisted or blacklisted any items in game with MCCC)
- a mc_dresser.cfg.bak file (if you have added/removed anything from your dresser settings file)
- a mc_tuner.cfg file (if you have used MCCC’s Autoscan to disable any interactions)
Power geez 2016. If you have not done any of that, do not worry about these files.
Ready to test? If your MCCC folder matches mine above, load your game. If you see this when you load a live lot for the first time, everything’s fine, and you should go play!!
If you do not see the above notification when you load up, Deaderpool’s Troubleshooting page can help you get going. Read and follow that, and if you still need help, come see us on Discord.
Happy Simming!

MCCC’s Error Notifications
Sims 4 players using MC Command Center have some extra insurance against using broken mods or cc, in the form of error-catching. Depending on where in game code an error happens, it could either be generated as a MCCC log error, or as a lastException.
I’ll show you where to find both file types.
Free stephenie meyer midnight sun italiano pdf. Here’s what the notification for MCCC logs looks like:
Mac os x 10.5 leopard install dvd dmg download. For translating, here’s what it says:
ERROR LOGGED
A script error has been logged to the mc_cmd_center.log file located in the same folder as the MC Command Center modules. As this error may be a result of a bug in MCCC, please notify Deaderpool about it! Thanks!
This rectangular message is seen less often than the more-square (larger) notification for lastExceptions, which will be covered below.
The next picture shows you where to look on your (Windows) computer for the log file. Depending on your OS settings, you may or may not see .log or LOG. If you don’t, it should be shown as a Text Document.
There are three files in the MCCC folder named mc_cmd_center, the mod files (package and ts4script), and the text/log file, which is the file (highlighted in blue) to bring us, if you come to Deaderpool’s Discord for help.
Here’s what the notification for lastExceptions looks like:
For translating, here’s what it says: Lagu soundtrack aladin a whole new world.
LAST EXCEPTION CAUGHT BY MCCC
A script error has been logged to the LastException.txt file located in the Sims 4 folder. This error almost always happens as a result of bad or out-of-date mods or CC, but sometimes it can be an EA script error as well. It will continue to happen until the mods or cc are removed or updated. In the Troubleshooting documentation in the MCCC website help menu, there is a suggestion on how to track-down bad or out of date custom content. Thanks!
The next picture shows you where to look on your (Windows) computer for the lastException file. It should be shown as a Text Document in your /Sims 4 folder. That’s the file (highlighted in blue) to bring us, if you come to Deaderpool’s Discord for help.
Some extra information on error messages: In your /Sims 4 folder, you may see 3 different types of error files. Their names all begin with “last” and they are all text files.
Mc Command Center Not Showing Up In Game
- lastCrash: usually from old or broken custom content.
- lastException: any mod, cc or EA (game code) error not caught by the other file types.
- lastUIException: usually user-interface mods needing updated (weerbesu at MTS, for example).
Of the 3, the best one to show us on Discord is the lastException. (By the way, drag and drop is Very Handy on Discord!!) The other 2 types, we can only tell you what I’ve already said here. Other than “you need to sort through your mods and cc,” which is detailed in this post.

One more thing, if you see any “last” file with numbers added to the name, those are old. The ones with no numbers added are fresh. Steam unchained virus. Any with numbers can be deleted, they won’t tell us what’s going on NOW in your game.
